The highlights of this visit were the Pinot Noir that wasn't released and the Aglianico which was so loaded with tannins you could still taste it an hour later.
2009 Pinot Grigio
Light, clean, crisp, low acid and sugar, slight citrus notes, nothing stands out
2008 Peter's Vineyard Pinot Noir
Not released, young, high alcohol, tons of tannins, and lots of spice
2006 Costiera Pinot Noir
Nothing jumps out, balanced and easy drinking
2007 Cortina Zinfandel
Slight tannins, a little pepper, lower sugar fruit, easy drinking
2008 Home Ranch Zinfandel
Big fruit up front, fairly smooth with biggish tannins, would buy this one
2008 Rockpile Zinfandel
Big, lots of tannins, age 5 years
2007 Ommagio
60% Cabernet, 40% Sangiovese
Very tannic, big red fruit, balanced, very good Italian blend
2004 Aglianico
Still very young with tons of tannins, big acidic fruit up front and then tannins that last for days
2005 Dionigia Port
Zinfandel, Cabernet, Petite Sirah
Very good, lots of sugar
