A bit disappointing - more of a shadow of its former self at this point. Nice golden color. Pear and oak are abundant with hints of the sweetness of honey, a lot of the complexity and boldness has faded since the last tasting of this vintage (2007). Still a good wine with a long lived finish of smoky pear. If we had any more we would be drinking it now.
